First and foremost, let me big-up my rep, Ashton. Anytime that I have had a question about anything I'm lookin at on sweet water, he is quick to respond and he gives me an honest opinion. He is professional yet very friendly. This is the kind of sales experience that businesses try to teach their employees. I really like the Catalyst amp. I am primarily a in home/church/studio… read more guitarist so the weight and flexibility. It is easy to use and sounds good to my ear. So far, it is really responsive to my touch. I'll be adding flexibility using an Hx stomp, for my purposes, it is ideal. I may give an update after I run it through its paces over a longer period. I really wanted to give Ashton his flowers!!

I am very pleased with this amp. The sounds produced by this amp are great and easy to setup. I am so glad that I have bought this amp from Sweetwater, they know there stuff. And kudos to Evan and his help.

Coming from a Fender Mustang V.2 amp It was time for me to purchase something more up to date and modern. The homework I did led me to the Catalyst 100. For me it is a simple easy design with everything you need for home practice, just turn down the wattage dial on the back and no worries your not driving everybody in the house crazy, Prefect! If live performances are your thing… read more this amp will crank in a decent size room no problem (ouch) it will get loud. From shimmering cleans or you want to chug all night I feel the Catalyst is the way to go without breaking the bank.
