Good, but disappointing

This is a good, solid hanger. It installed pretty easily. I bought three of them -- one for a bass and two for guitars (one for a ukulele, too.) Looks good on the wall. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the holder is not really wide enough for a classical style guitar. I was worried about that when I saw it on the web site and measured the neck width of my cheap Yamaha… read more nylon string classical. I knew it was going to be close, but it's closer than I had hoped. It fits, but very tightly. I have to twist the guitar to get it out. That may put unwanted stress on the mounting screws and the neck finish. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but I won't be putting my higher-end Martin classical into it so I can protect the finish. I assume the padding will wear a bit and the fit will loosen, so I'm not too worried. I just wish the manufacturer had kept classical guitars in mind when designing.

I bought two of these and they work great and were easy to install. Used one to hold my Ibanez G200 bass and one for my Silvertone 1461.

I have purchased several of these and they have held up over time. They were easy to install and have a nice finished look on walls. No complaints at all.
