Solid wall hangers.
Couldn't have been easier to install, took me about 5 minutes for two of them. I don't know why I didn't get these sooner, definitely getting more.
The Best Guitar Hanger on Planet Earth!
Sorry, I have to respond to the 2-3 guys who dissed these hangers. You don't get out much, or, if you do you don't spend much time around a hardware store. The screw-in plastic receivers are installed like this: After you've marked your two anchor spots for your wall bracket screws, take a Philips screw driver and (using the point of the driver) punch a hole into your sheet rock.… read more This hole will be 1/4" max in diameter. Sure, you can use a drill and a 1/4" bit instead if you want to. (Note: If you hit a stud, use the screws by themselves, the plastic anchors aren't needed.) Moving on, assuming you put your Philips screw driver shaft ENTIRELY THROUGH the sheetrock (both the front and back skins of the sheetrock, now use your Philips screw driver to screw the plastic anchor into the sheetrock hole you just made. Screw it in flush with the surface of the sheetrock. Now use your black screws to attach the wood block to the wall by screwing the two screws into the center of the plastic anchors. Screw the 'Fork' into the T-nut that's mounted in the wood block and hang your guitar. Done. Also note: If you want to remove your String Swing you can do this easily. Get your Philips screwdriver, unscrew the wood block, then the plastic anchors, and plug the holes with Red Devil fast drying non-shrinking patching spackle or something similar. Paint is your friend if you need to touch the wall up further. The pictures posted in the 1 Star reviews, showing strange holes in the sheetrock? At best they are examples of someone's inability to understand the basic application of the plastic anchors. Here I would suggest either a YouTube video or, if my explanation above is not understood, a visit to the hardware store to ask someone there how to properly use the plastic anchor. Lastly, as to the STRENGTH of these two black screws made of TEMPERED STEEL, I should point out that the SHEAR STRENGTH of EITHER of these screws is 600 pounds. This is to say it would take 600 pounds of hanging weight on the head of this screw to cause it to snap off. Here, if your guitar weighs 1200 pounds, I would worry. All the Best to String Swing for manufacturing and selling this truly great and helpful product.
Very Nice!
Absolutely wonderful guitar/bass guitar hangers. Also included are drywall anchors if you can't find a stud where you want to hang them.
Wall hanger
The product has worked great for holding my Les Paul. I didn't use the screws that came with the hanger. I used two 2.5 wood screws and sunk them in a wall stud. No problems
Excellent Value! Works perfectly!
I have used this guitar hanger for about a year, with an acoustic guitar. It is simple, well-constructed, looks nice, and functions well. I'm now ordering another for my electric bass. I cannot comment on the included screws because I did not use them. I used 3-inch drywall screws to go through thick plaster and lath, and deep into a solid stud, for worry-free holding power.… read more It works beautifully.
