Cool pedal
This pedal has been a great addition to my board. I love the octave setting and I've been able to get some really cool sounds out of the phaser. The chorus is pretty standard, which isn't a bad thing! The "two-in-one" design is really neat and I've had some fun playing around with it. As for the shipping and all that, Sweetwater is by far the absolute best place to buy gear. Where was this 10 years ago
Ok....yeah I am a child of the 80's so yeah do the math......but I can tell you this pedal is amazing and so easy to use. Ok the naming of the controls are weird but that is the vibe of this I mean Matthews effects are just the coolest looking and they have the coolest names not only for the pedals but the controls. So basically this is a chorus and flanger/phaser pedal in one.… read more The chorus is very sensitive so you have to dial it in. I use just a little unless I am playing the old 80's hair band songs then I crank it. But you can get the weirdest sounds out of the chorus. I use just in a mellow setting at about 20% wet. Really nice on clean playing.....The flanger/phaser is out of this world....I could never get a good flange sound it was either way to much or not enough.... really this this is easy and smooth. It can be just there and you go "what's that" or it can take off and really crank a song up. So for the price it is great, don't be like I was and say "Why would I spend $200 on a pedal I can get a chorus for like $80" trust me you will hear the difference now go and rock on.
Matthew Effects The Chemist
What a great addition to my pedal board. It"s actually two pedals in one ! So far I"ve settled in for the chorus and phaser.
How three knob pedals should be
So let's start here: the pedal sounds great. It's really easy to dial in all of the effects and you get a really broad range of just a touch to soaked in effect, and really, it's three knobs, it's really easy to work with to dial in something you like. The unboxing is fun. The box itself is beautiful, the pedal is beautiful, and the attention to detail to make it so this thing… read more not only sounds like art, but also looks like art is brilliant. Last but definitely not least, the two channel setup is probably my favorite thing. I have pedals where they're are a couple of settings I really like, but I can't easily switch between them. This pedal gives you a wide range of modulation types and let's you have them both in a way that's really intuitive. I'm definitely sold on this kind of design.
