I swapped this pickup into my 15 year old Edwards Flying V that had a Seymour Duncan SH14. Guitar just sounded a little muddy before the Friedman. Now it sounds just as described, with just a little 'plus!' In drop C tuning and through a Marshall DSL it now has a super heavy, full articulate sound without being brittle or harsh, and it is very quiet.
