If you love your vintage Deluxe Memory Man without the reliability issues and price of a vintage DMM, this is hands down the winner! Even among EHX's replicas of this same style pedal. This pedal sounds amazing in front of an overdriving amp! I use it in front of a Tweed Deluxe clone I built, and it sounds incredible. The preamp is very transparent and doesn't color the sound in an unpleasing way. Having the ability to switch the modulation on and off makes this pedal so much more versatile than the Deluxe Memory Man. I deducted half a star for the true stereo… read more output. I really wish it was a dual mono so the repeats didn't disappear if the two sides get summed together, or a dry out after the boost so I could still get the preamp push, but run a wet/dry rig. Truly an amazing sounding delay that will stay with me for many years to come! (Also it is built like a tank!)
