Wow
Just what the doctor ordered! 2 knobs you can set to any ratio you like. I'm using it as a Volume control for my Katana 50 MkII. The footswitch simply goes back and forth between the knob channels. And if you don't want to use a power cord, the switching circuit is passive so it still works. The only other way I've found to control the amp via the EXP jack is with a foot volume… read more pedal and that gets really squirrely at the ends of the travel range. This is much easier to control AND lets you set TWO levels instead of 0 to 100. And the price is honest. I'm a fan.
EHX Cntl Knob
Quick and easy to have two expression presets stored.
Good Gear
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I have it plugged into the expression jack on a Katana 50. Wors as advertised.

Ever find a sweet spot or two with an expression pedal applied to effects? That's what the Cntl Knob is for; isolating a couple of expression sweet spots. The Cntl Knob performs said feat as advertised. I've used the Cntl Knob with about a half dozen EHX pedals, a Crash Pad reissue, and a Moogerfooger or two. Although I have had to use it, there is an external button to change… read more polarity for other exotic pedals or devices. The one odd thing about Cntl Knob is power. It doesn't need a battery or 9V adapter to work. There no place for a battery. The 9V input jack is solely for powering the LEDs under each setting knob. Otherwise, you're guessing until you turn the selected expression knob. A 9V power adapter is not included, but a five and a half foot TRS cable does come with the Cntl Knob. I suppose that's what really matters.
Great option for use with certain pedals.
I do have an expression pedal, however, I simply wanted the ability to switch between 2 settings on my Grand Canyon Delay. This pedal allows me to have 26 presets instead of 13. With the Grand Canyon Delay, I like to use some of the effects w/o delay. For example, I can now have a nice chorus sound and then with to chorus with delay without having to sweep the entire parameter.
