Wow guitar!
Bought this from Sweetwater last week. Anyone who says anything negative about this guitar, check and play it again and again. This is a beautiful sounding and meticulously made guitar, AWESOME! No disappointment here, super nice!
QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE
Spend more money if you want, but this instrument has more going for it than guitars I saw costing a lot more. Bone saddle and nut, Spanish fan bracing (like a real classical guitar should have), and the pau ferro board make this play and feel like its more expensive counterparts. I did take a chance with the African mohagany, but I am so pleased with the sound that I actually… read more forgot this could be plugged in after playing all day! (And the battery is included!!) Well Worth the investment and then some! I also purchase the Cordoba "Humicase"…Never underestimate have a good case!!
Instantly in love!
I am not by any means, and sophisticated guitar player. However, i have a really huge spot in my heart for the sounds of a spanish/Classical guitar. For something simple and beautiful as this guitar, i don't think i could have gone wrong. the electronics really give it a good punch when plugged in and the neck feels amazing. Would recommend, but i don't think "serious" or "sophisticated"… read more players may disagree.
First time purchase of nylon-string guitar
For the price it's a great instrument, I bought this as I wanted to explore classical and flamenco-style music without dropping a mortgage payment. It's a beautiful and surprisingly _light_ guitar, in fact it's so light it almost feels "toy-like", however this strikes me as the kind of instrument that gets better with age & practice (after breaking it in so to speak). The action… read more is quite decent and it feels nice to play. Out of the box you'll be re-tuning this thing for like a week, but guessing that's natural w/these types of strings. I enjoy picking this thing up everyday, it's an inviting instrument for practice and that's good enough for me.
Great intermediate guitar!
Coming from a mainly electric player, I think this is a great guitar. It really sings, and the craftsmanship is good quality. It's pretty ergonomical with the cutout and the slim c-shaped neck. It's also very pretty looking. This guitar happens to be a comfortable transition from my strat/super strat electrics to a classical.
