Wish I Wouldn't Have Waited So Long To Buy!!!

I thought about buying one of these awhile ago but decided to wait. Then one of my friends let me play his and wouldn't you know I got hooked! So, I had to find one somewhere. Luckily I checked out Sweetwater's website and to my surprise they had several of these to choose from. I called my sales rep Bart Good who has helped me countless times in the past and within a few days read more I had one in my hands. My first thought of this guitar was how versatile it really is. You can use it for pop, jazz, classical, country, church and it's perfect this time of year for Christmas music! I haven't even had to plug it in yet as it sounds so awesome played acoustically. I'm currently growing my fingernails out so I can play more finger style and learn a couple of Chet Atkins tunes. I sit down in a chair with this at night and before I know it a couple hours have gone by. I highly recommend this guitar and I have yet to find anything about it that I don't like. It's really been a blessing to me during the difficult times we've all been going through this year. The sound of those nylon strings is definitely relaxing and a great stress reliever. Try one and you'll get hooked just like I did!

Magnificent!!!

I received this magnificent beauty from Sweetwater today and the only reason it got only 5 stars is because that's all the app will allow or I might have done 6,7,8...... I've been playing guitar for 60 years and have had a long standing love affair with cedar topped, 12 fret guitars with nylon strings! I've dreamt for years of having an Olson but being retired I don't have $15K read more just laying around. I own all kinds of high end guitars. Martin's, Taylors, Gibsons etc. This baby takes a back seat to none of them! It's a fingerpicking dream! Very rare when I buy a guitar without playing it first but that's exactly what I did which leads me to why I made this leap of faith. Sweetwater has some of the best sales engineers in the world! My buddy Steve Chamoun is almost like family! He never, never steers me wrong. He knows my tastes and style and on the rare occasion if I come up with a question he can't immediately answer he goes to great lengths to get an answer for me! Mr. Chuck, you employ some really stellar people! Ha! Sweetwater music is on my bucket list of places I want to visit before I check out of my current gig here on this planet! OK, this review is cutting into my playing time so enough! Whatever your music needs are, call Sweetwater! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Killer Nylon String Guitar!

I read reviews on dozens of nylon string guitars, watched countless YouTube videos, and played several different guitars before deciding on this guitar. Save yourself time and headache. This guitar is amazing. Killer tone. Superb playability. Impeccable craftsmanship. Lots of choices out there, but you won’t go wrong with this beauty. I expect guitars that I purchase to be around read more for decades. I have no doubt that this guitar will be a dependable source of inspiration for a long time. Special thanks to Dave Snow for helping me through this process!

Buy it!

I don"t own this guitar currently, but I wish I hadn"t sold mine years ago. It is super playable and has wonderful response and sound through its range. I sold it to raise $$ many years ago. The first guy who tried it was a pro musician on his way to a recording gig. He loved it and paid my asking price in cash. He walked away with a smile on his face. There might be a better guitar read more out there. Somewhere. Maybe.

Amazing playability in all genres.

I'm a full-time professional musician. I have owned two of the EC132C, the model that this one replaced. I sold the first many years ago and regretted it since. 10 years ago I found another one used and immediately bought it. I'm a Classically trained guitarist and play many different styles. My other nylon is a Ramirez. I love this guitar and even toured with it in Turkey in 2006 read more with great success. Although the airline almost destroyed it. Thankfully I had a Humicase that protected it! I recommend Takamine to other serious players.
