Pint-Sized Growler

Grand-Master, Buffal-Kill

You can get a slight sense for what it is I'm referring-to by listening to the first song in the demo video, here, on the Sweetwater product page. I am, primarily, a metal-dude; however, once you get a chance to hear and feel one of these in your lap, you'll understand my draw. It must be a quality of the Spanish Cypress, that we rarely encounter as a body-wood, interacting with read more the nylon but mine produces the most desirable-growl, reminiscent of an overdriven electric tone. The very second I realized its capability, I knew it would be with me for life. So, do yourself the generous-favor and get your hands on one for even a brief-moment. Your accountant will, likely, not appreciate it as much but this isn't about that "finger-wagging, no-fun, joy-kill!" This is about you and something that is new and unique, which you may not experience any other way, in an industry of repetitive, same-ol'-same-ol'.

Coroba FCWE

This is an amazing guitar! I love playing it at church through the PA, sounds absolutely amazing. I currently own 6 top end takamine, which I love, but this FCWE has become my go to, because of sound, light weight (I am 60 now) and great looks. I own a Hirade TH-90; 2012 Limited Edition Classical (Black); two TC132SC, PJ7C, and TSP158C-12 (all lovely and highly recommended instruments); read more however, the FCWE is unbelievably amazing, especially when connected to sound. I can't say enough great things about this guitar (made in Spain)The pickup system is tops. Have fun making music, I hope the time that I took to give this guitar a 5 star is worth it for you. By the way, my friend who is a nationally recognized celebrity (I won't use his name) heard this guitar and said, "I have to have it." John

This Guitar Exceeded My Expectations

My very knowledgeable, interesting and likable Sweetwater Account Executive, Nick Schenkel, recommended this guitar to me and I couldn't be happier. I wanted an instrument that would allow me to explore both classical and flamenco styles without having to buy 2 different guitars, and this guitar delivered. I also wanted something that's hard to find in most affordable nylon string read more guitars, which is resonance and sustain - for which this instrument has plenty of both. The neck width and radius is designed for clarity and speed, and the quality of sound is phenomenal. Love the electronics! The Fishman Prefix Problend pickup system helps you achieve a very natural sound. It also came with a very sturdy and innovative case that has a built-in humidifier that rests above the guitar's sound hole. Lastly, it's a beautiful looking instrument!

Wow more projection than my Conde Hermanos

Rapido El Ragueado

Great body depth for playing live and in the studio with no sacrifice in tonal balance and projection. I expected a shallower sound pallet but Wrong...this guitar sings and does not sound like a smaller body. In fact it has better projection than my Conde Hermanos which cost a lot more. Plugged in it translates the full bodied sound you expect from a handmade Spanish instrument. read more It is snappy and fast true to the flamenco tradition. Great for all styles of music but especially for flamenco and Latin rock and jazz. And it smells really nice....cypress has that distinctive sweet smell. I would put this guitar against any higher priced instrument without a problem

Second Impressions

It's been 7 months since I described my first impressions. This guitar continues to grow on me (and my instructor). The quality and volume of the sound from such a small-body guitar really surprises me. It continues to open up. While the sound of most electric acoustics are enhanced by the Fishman Aura pedal (as is this one). I rarely use the pedal, because the sound stands read more so well on its own. Very easy to play. I use it strictly for classical, but the protective plastic gives me the option to use percussion and flamenco techniques. I really love it, and am not tempted in the least to look at anything else (sorry Sweetwater).
