Very nice, relatively inexpensive guitar

Everything I hoped it would be. Good sound, beautiful back and sides, electronics easy to operate. Can't imagine a better choice for the price and what I was wanting -- nice trebles, resonant but not overpowering bass with the general playablility (other than adjusting to different string gauges and tensions) of a steel string. Didn't give it five stars because it's not the best read more guitar out there but for me I'm completely satisfied in all respects. If you're interested in adding a nylon string to your instruments I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one.

I'd been wanting a nylon string guitar for a while to get that smooth classical sound. I tried several out and as someone who traditionally plays steel string guitars, I found that the narrower neck of the fusion model was much easier for me to play. I thought about biting the bullet and learning to play a traditional classical guitar with the wider neck, but in the end selected read more this so that all my muscle memory can be applied without too much trouble. The finish on the guitar is excellent. I wasn't able to find any flaws in the polyurethane, no gaps, etc. The only complaint I could come up with is that the tuners are "ebony style" rather than ebony. I guess that means they're some kind of vinyl, which is too bad considering all of the amazing wood on the rest of the guitar. Not a big deal though, they look nice enough. The first thing I did with this guitar was drill a hole in it to add a strap button to the heal. I placed it according to the Cordoba website and used masking tape to protect the finish while I drilled. It turned out great.
