It's the perfect crossover for Electric Guitar players!
I love this guitar. I recently have been on a very long hunt for a nice classical guitar that feels comfortable to play and sounds great. I have been playing electric guitar (Schecters) for a long time. I grew up on Metal and eventually Jazz, but recently I have been very interested in Classical music. I went from store to store and played Classical Guitar after Classical Guitar… read more and they all were very beefy and uncomfortable to play. I was able to find the Cordoba Fusion 12 at a store and I really liked how it played and sounded. After some more research though I found out they make a Fusion 14, which gives you more room to play higher up on the neck, especially chords, and I took a smidgeon of a gamble and ordered it from Sweetwater. No regrets there. I have so much more access to higher frets than on a lot of other Classical Guitars. Also, as I learn more about humidity and keeping my guitars in better condition for longer periods of time I now get a nice case with every guitar I own and keep it in there when not in use. No more guitar stands for me. I ordered the very nice Cordoba HumiCase and it's awesome. Sweetwater is so great with the shipping and processing as well. Very quick. They inspected the guitar and gave it a perfect set-up (intonation was perfect) and shipped it in the case. It's beautiful.
Great guitar for price.
Since I mainly play electric guitar this fusion style neck makes going between different guitars an easy adjustment. Would recommend to any thinking about buying a classical guitar.
Experience in dealing Sweetwater
Very nice guitar at a VERY reasonable price. Easy to play with good sound. Unfortunately I had to return it because, having played the classical guitar with its wider finger board for most of my life, I couldn't adjust to the narrower fingerboard of a crossover instrument. But that is my fault and not the fault of the guitar. Sweetwater was very accommodating about returning the… read more instrument and was extremely generous in applying the original cost in full towards the purchase of a standard classical guitar along with a hard case and some incidental items. Their sales personnel are exceptionally nice and helpful.
