I was blown away by the heavy tone that this amp is capable of. If you want a practice amp that will melt your face and fit under a desk, this will check both of those boxes.

This little guy delivers the goods. It's taken me years to find a suitable replacement for my old practice amp. This amp has the same knob configuration that my early 90's "Fender 15" had: both "Overdrive" and "Gain" controls, as well as Master / Bass / Mid / Treble. That's all I need! The tone is different than the Fender, of course, but it's still loud and clear for it's size.… read more This thing has a great warmth and punch to it. An extra-cool bonus here: the "cab-sim" circuit in the headphone jack. This is by far the best amp I've used for direct recording. I just plug it right into my 4-track and "BOOM!", great tone straight to the tape. Super useful for silent recording... I've cut some great stuff while my 2-year-old was napping. I've even plugged a crappy microphone into it and used it as a vocal preamp. This thing is hard to beat!

I just got this little puppy today and it is fantastic! For such a small amp, it gets a great tone. I bought it mainly for late night jamming. It will fit the bill for that with no problems. I am very happy with this Orange amp.
