Does the Job - But Lower Quality

I purchased this case as an upgrade for an older Takamine New Yorker style guitar. The case is made to fit the current Takamine New Yorker and FXC series guitars. I checked the dimensions for my guitar and this case seemed to be pretty close size-wise. The guitar fits, however, I didn't take into account that this is a 12 fret guitar with a shorter neck compared to the newer… read more Takamine New Yorker's which are 14 fret guitars. The storage compartment in the case ends right at the base of the bottom 2 tuner pegs - but it still fits! The inner lining is good and the protection is much better than the guitars original chipboard case. By today's standards the case is acceptable. My 3 Star rating is more about quality and price. The material and hardware are typical of what is being imported these days. I’m not gigging, so I not too worried about how it will hold up. The case was on sale... I think it still a bit high, but it fit’s guitar.

I needed a case for my newly purchased Takamine parlor guitar.Good case for the price. The compartment lid was loose. Once again,good case...

Great case for my Takamine GY11ME. Fits like a glove, and the compartment is nice and deep. Holds my 4 inch wide strap (which didn't fit in my Gator dreadnought case) perfectly. Feels secure and seems like it will last the rest of my life.
