I thought I had messed up and couldn't figure out why it wasn't making any noise but it turned out the underside of the pickup selector switch was rubbing the shielding paint on the inside of the guitar electronics cavity. I put electrical tape under the switch so it didn't bottom out without separation and it works perfect. Very useful tone control for bridge pickup. If I knew… read more to put electrical tape in the body underneath the selector switch, the install would've taken 10 minutes max. Made my squier bullet Strat sound better than both USA Strats I've tried out. All 3 pickups are complimentary to each other and all sound 10/10, before I would only play on the bridge because the neck pickup before was so much worse. Now I use all positions probably every time I sit to play it
