These Fender Custom '69 Stratocater Pickups already came installed in my Sweetwater "Exclusive" Fender Stratocaster and let me tell you they don't disappoint. They have more than enough of that classic Strat Spank and spunk. If you want some bad you know what ...step up and buy these pickups ...you won't be disappointed.

Playing through the pick-up set clean, I thought I'd made a mistake in purchasing the Fender Custom Shop Custom '69 Stratocaster pick-up set. Then, I turned on my pedals! Honestly, I've never heard such a luscious swirl from my Uni-Vibe or vicious bite from my Fuzz Face. Needless to say, combining the aforementioned two with some serious tube crunch brings the Summer of Love… read more into auditory focus! Fender's product description notes that this set is especially effective with pedals; that's an understatement. These pick-ups are quintessential to achieving that crunchy, overdriven, fuzz-drenched sonic flame we've all heard the guitar gods evoke from their instruments. The Custom '69 Strat pick-ups are best suited to rock and roll. Players of other music styles might want to consider a different model of pick-up as these seem to perform best when pushing effects. Pile on the pedals…and turn them all on. You will have found what you were looking for!

I have an old fender squire that first learned to play on. I decided it was time to upgrade the pickups on it to make it sound better. Installed these myself and they made my cheap squire sound more like an American strat! Nice pickups!
