BEAUTIFUL TONE
I love these pickups. they came stock in my red two tone Thinline Telecaster. they have a nice balanced tone. not piercing on the high end. full rich tone. and very ballsy too. absolutely love them.
The perfect pickup
Swapped these into a Player Tele and couldn't be happier. They have all the twang and snap that you expect to get those classic Tele tones. They also take dirt and distortion very well. No muddy low end or brittle highs. Like the title says, they're the perfect Tele pickups.
Simple the best!!!!
I've heard and tried different tele pickups and these are The best by far. I haven't tried other pickups including Tone Rider, Fraillan , lollar but out of all the others( Fender pickups, Seymour Duncan etc.) these had the best tele sound to my ears They are well balanced, just the right treble, bass and mids. The Bridge pickup is awesome as it can get that Growl that I look for… read more When you add a little gain. The neck pickup is like butter. Man It sounds so so good. It's like a Strat neck pickup but on Steroids!!!! And in the mid position on the three way switch gets that humbucker sound . I promise you will not be disappointed. I Searched the Internet forever and read reviews, listened to different pickups, heard and tried different pickups in person these babies are the best for me and I think you're going to love them too! You don't see a lot Of reviews for these pickups And I think the reason is, nobody has time to write one because they're playing these bad boys. I've had these for a little over a month and I got an email from Sweetwater asking to share my opinion on these pickups, so here I am. I normally do not write reviews but these pickups deserve one!!!! Call Daniel Vranic at extension 1771 he'll take care of anything you need he's been my gear advisor for over three years now and goes above and beyond Dan along with the other Sweetwater team members never let you down! Stop Searching and buy these pickups!!!!
Amazing pickups
I dropped these into my Squier Paranormal offset telecaster from last year. I'm never parting with the body of that guitar thanks to its amazing figuring, but the stock pickups had to go. Paired these with an Emerson 4-way wiring kit - what an amazing combination! Super clear in the standard positions, fatten up beautifully when in series. Really, really happy with these. The guitar… read more these are now in has recently been overshadowed by one of the korina MIJ offset teles with P90s that I've picked up recently, but not anymore.
Great Pickups
NoCaster pickups are one of my favorites. Sound is sweet and controllable. No icepick sound. I first heard them in my Sweetwater Special Telecaster. They sound as good as my other favorite the Duncan Jerry Donahue bridge. If you are looking for something even less twang then I recommend the Dimarzio Super Distortioan Tele pickup. Warm and loud. Otherwise I have fallen in love… read more with the Fender NoCaster Tele pickups. They will surprise you with their incredible tone.
