Superior Strat Pickups
I put these in my American Pro 2 Strat, and I couldn't be happier with the tone. I can play everything I want to with these. Don't be dissuaded by the specs, these pickups have plenty of life and character to them. Well worth the money.
Custom Shop Fat '60s RWRP Single-Coil Strat®
This incredible middle pickup has a familiar balls to the walls crunch sound, reminiscent of the old marshall amplifiers from the glory days. The neck is the most playabl of all my strats and I have a bunch. This is one classy axe and do yourself a favor- deal with the peeps at Sweetwater. It's great dealing with them. I have a couple other strats, an American… read more Standard with fat 50s and a 58 mij vintage Reissue/ warmoth build with Texas specials. These had the same balanced bottom of the fat 50s but had a snappy/ almost funk like balance that fit incredibly well with the lightness of this guitar. They felt more aggressive than the Texas specials but I"m sure the light weight of the strat contributed to the snappiness. Great buy.
