Good deal, good strings!
These are my go-to strings for the entire range of my vintage acoustics, bod sizes 0-dread. A touch less bright than PBs, and though heavier, I love them tuned down D-D for easier fretting and more vocal range options. Good for 3-4 mos of daily playing.
Great strings
I am more of a phosphor bronze string fan, but as my only acoustic is an all mahogany old Guild Dread, 80/20 alloy can help. I am a big fan of Dunlop picks (tortoise 2.0 mm) so I figure why not give their strings a go. Very crisp sounding, clean, not too bright, strong, and sound great after 2 weeks so far. Easier on the fingers than D'Addario EJ 12s (same gauge of their 80/20 staple… read more string). I might give the Elixir 80/20 polys the nod over the Dunlops, but the Dunlops are better for sure over Elixir Nano 80/20s IMHO. I plan on giving the Dunlop PBs a go as well soon. Worth a go, especially if 80/20 is your bronze preference, and medium gauge is your tension. Easier to play than most other medium gauge strings I have tried.
