I put these in a Jackson Dinky and I can totally get that 80s 90s megadeth sound perfectly. Also I works great with other songs. Very versatile! And Sweetwater's customer service is top notch! I will only be buying my guitar gear here!!

I added these pickups to a $199 dinky along with a bone nut and locking diaddario tuners and my guitar is killer. these pickups can't and won't do anything clean. they are nasty, mix cutting and metal to the bone. love, love,love them

I'm surprised there's not more reviews for this set of pickups. The 59' in the neck sounds very smooth (smoother than the Gibson 490R) I replaced, and the JB sounds brutal with my Wampler Dracarys boosted by a Wampler Clarksdale, into the clean channel of a Marshall JVM205H and 1960a cabinet. Great pickups, worth every penny I spent!

This pickup has a mid range grind that is perfect. I just love it. It definitely has the Magadeth sound of the 90s. Plug this into a Marshall tube amp and you will be in tone heaven. I think the JB just got better!!! The neck pickup is a 59 and it matches well with the Maga-Dave thrash factor pickup. I can't say enough good things about this pickup set.
