I use this case pretty much exclusively for flying with my guitar. On my last trip the baggage guys were rough enough with the case to put a serious dent into it and crack the plastic--it looks like they threw the case. Luckily my guitar inside was still in perfect condition, and the break in the plastic is small enough that the case is still good to go. Not just for dreadnaught acoustics - I bought this for an Electra lawsuit copy of a Howard Roberts guitar. Fit was perfect and this case just oozes quality. I bought this for a Martin DX1K. It was matched with my guitar in Sweetwater's case finder. This case fits almost as it was made for this guitar. It is made out of ABS plastic, same as my whitewater canoes and kayaks. They are extremely durable.
