I was looking for a replacement set of pups for my 11 year old Squire Strat which was long overdue..Sweetwater has a ton of pups out there, with many specialty tones to choose, granted, but i wanted some power as well to pump my effects before the amp, and these are working great! they are rated at 10, 12, 12k ohms from neck to bridge, and measured very close to that.. i use a 5… read more way switch, and besides the main 3 positions, the 2 and 4 spots really shine and i like the neck/middle better than ever, as that was the dull/useless one to me prior to this! Plugged straight into an amp they shine nicely, and thru my pedalboard, are working better than ever..add a treble bleed to the volume pot, and its great at any volume..turn up the amp, back off the volume for rythem, tone stays the same till you turn it up for some punch! if you use volume swells, they sound great and even sounding..they really add sensitivity to my trem arm also, clear in subtle moves to dives, really cool..great investment for me..

ONLY use Sweetwater, and Matt Masek is the best. I have a Squier classic vibe 60's that I made into an SRV replica. Love the way it turned out but the pickups were so horrible I was reluctant to play it. Well I added these Deluxe Drive PUs and all I can say is HOLY ****!! Great tones and can breathe fire if you want to.Thanks Matt!!!
