Fits my enormous D'Angelico EXL-1 Archtop just fine

I wanted a case for my D'Angelico archtop but was having a hell of a time because it's so wide. This case fits fine, I only needed to add a little padding in the bottom because the case is deeper than the guitar needs. But side to side and lengthwise it's just about perfect, the guitar fits well and should be nicely protected. Thanks.

This is a really nice offering from Gator. Just as Sweetwater advertised, this case was truly a "certified fit" for my Guild F240E. There is generous padding and a decently-sized center compartment for picks, strings, etc. There's also a lock and a TSA key, which was a nice touch, although I probably won't be throwing it onto baggage claim. While Gator is known for bulky protection… read more and not necessarily stunning good looks, this case actually has some style. The buckles feel quite nice, although one came with a hardy scratch. While cases are meant to be beaten up in place of the instrument, it would have been nice to not have the blemish upon arrival. Unclear if this was Gator, SW, or FedEx, but I digress. If you'll let me be kind of weird for a second, the inside of this case smells really nice and imparts the same pleasant aroma onto the guitar. Sorry, not sorry. All in all, I'm very pleased and would recommend this as an attractive, affordable, protective option for a jumbo acoustic guitar.
