Good change!
First time purchase of Dunlop brand strings. Couldn't beat the 3 pack price. 9-42 gauge. Usually use EB. Installed the Dunlops on a Jackson dinky with a licensed Floyd. Very nice! Sound good; only took a (very) little while to stretch, & are as "slinky" feeling as EBs. Fantastic string
Supriced with the string, feel like addario sound a little more brighter for the price I will jump to this string for now on
Best value
I have used Ernie Ball super slinky for years. Those are great strings. I tried these and they are just as good, for half the price or so when getting Sweetwater's buy 6 get 6 offer. My new go to brand for 9-42s.
Dean Markely fan no longer.
I've played lots of strings from several different manufacturers over the years but I always came back to Dean Marley. I played Blue Steel's for over 20 years then changed to Helix for the last few years. A guitar tech recommended I try Dunlop strings. About a year later I did and was totally blown away! The tone and string to string balance is the best I've heard to date!
Best Strings Out There
When you combine the fact that these strings have great tone and feel with the fact that they are about the cheapest strings around, it is a no-brainer. These are the best things going! By the way, they make great bass strings too. Made in America to boot. Please do yourself a favor and buy a dozen of these right now. You will not regret it!
