I bought the Dimarzio Super Distortion to replace the old Shaller pickup in my mid 80's Kramer Pacer. The Shaller is good but the Dimarzio is great. My Kramer is now a fire breathing beast. It's richly harmonic and punchy. I get so much articulation out of the Dimarzio pickup. It's now my favorite pickup. I replaced the Gibson 490 pickups for these super distortion pickups. Wow what a difference, nice and tight ,balanced and wow what a huge difference.

This Pickup has been the standard for a Les Paul guitar since the 70's.You can hear it on so many rock albums from Boston,Al Dimaola to Ace Frehley. It was designed to bring out the best in Gibson's workhorse. The staff at Sweetwater was very helpful. I had to return a standard space one for an F spaced.
