Clips
This pedal tends to get into digital clipping way too easily. Weird pops and the like while playing. Had to back pretty far off the volume knob to get it to stop. I'm using a coil split humbucker for reference. In addition there's a volume drop when the pedal is switched on. The only saving grace here is that when the mix is turned way way down and the dwell way up it does ok as… read more an ambient effect. Also worked out OK as an accidental lofi kind of thing although it didn't have an EQ set up for that and I had to use an EQ pedal to get it there. Would not recommend.
Great reverb
I needed a spring reverb that was more than just a "Surf" reverb. Don't get me wrong,… it drips just enough to play "Miserlou" and that does me fine. It however shines as a nice sweet reverb to kiss your lead tone on something bluesy or jazzy. I found it adds that extra something that makes clean tones "bell like" and sweetens them in a good way.
