Don't like these strings at all.
I don't like these strings at all. Overly bright. Coating makes them very "grabby" on the fingers. Creates a LOT of squeak and string noise. Will stick with Elixir Nanos when I want coated, and Martin PB when I want uncoated.
Fantastic strings
Been using DR Dragon Skins on several guitars for about a year now, and they always feel right, look right, sound right, stay in tune, and they last a long time. What else can you hope for? Oh, and the price is far less than those other coated strings that shed their skin like a snake, and feel funky and sound bad.
Pick the magic Dragon..skin that is!
First off, I have been using DRs on my electrics since they hit the market over 25 years ago. They are the brightest and long lasting strings that were ever made. The Dragon Skin strings for acoustic is no exception. They will be around long after the instrument has turned to dust and be just as bright as the day they were strung.
DR strings dragon skin phospher bronze
The strings from DR lasted less then 1 day I broke three strings during a perfomance the day after I put them on my guitar. And finally the fourth the next practice time for our band. I thought I would try these and see if they truly might last a little longer. I have been playing the guitar over 50 + years and never seen anything like this .....the shortest lasting strings ever!
Awesome strings
Hand wound and balanced set my go to strings when doing mic recording. Also love the neons for stage playing
