Nicely Coated for my wall of Guitars
Let me start off by saying I use Elixir Nanowebs on my daily drivers, but hate spending the money to keep everything strung with them. This DR's are very nice, especially considering a 2 pack is about he same cost as a single pack of Elixirs. The coating is more noticeable vs the Elixirs in my opinion, but not in a bad way, just a different way. The unwound strings are more noticeable… read more than the wound strings but only if you are consciously trying to pick apart the difference. When I'm playing them this difference is pretty moot as they play well, have a nice crisp and articulate sound (brighter than Nanowebs and closer to Optiwebs) and seem to go the distance.
