If you love the chorus sounds of the 80s, this is a must have for your pedal board!

I've always loved the sound of chorus modulation, especially as a guitar effect. In searching for a chorus pedal that could give me "80s rack unit in a box", I stumbled upon the Keeley Dyno My Roto Tri-Chorus, Rotary and Flange pedal. After considering the numerous options of comparable chorus pedals, I decided to pull the trigger on this one based on the reviews here at Sweetwater read more and positivity surrounding it. After plugging it in and tweaking the knobs to my liking, I was and have been hooked on it since that day. You can get the clean chorus laden Purple Rain-esque/Andy Summeres sounds when running the pedal without any overdrive. When overdriven, it gives the vibes of mid-late 80s Clapton (think August and Journeyman era) or for any Mayer fans it definitely allows for "Shot in the Dark" vibes. As for the rotary and flanger options, I haven't experimented too much with them but from what I have heard, they're also killer. But again, if you want to add some 80s modulation to your rig, I highly recommend this pedal.

Exceptional value and versitaly

I ordered this exceptional pedal without first speaking with "my Sweetwater guy (Pat Weaver). This is a move I rarely take, but I had been looking for a modulation pedal to add to my rig and the moment overtook me and boom: the order was placed. I was dubious about this one but bought it based on other Keeley products I have bought in the past. The chorus feature is a peach, juicy read more and lush. The flanger will whoosh with aplomb. But the biggest surprise was the rotary feature. It has a swirling effect that I was looking for to bring my guitar sound alive during solos. Exceptional build quality.

Flanger & More

I started out searching for a flanger. It was one of the few things I was missing when it came to pedals. I already have a chorus and (believe it or not) I have a mini Leslie that takes care of my rotary needs. But when I ran across this pedal, just the thought of not having to haul the Leslie around sealed the deal. Not to mention I got a demo which saved me a few bucks. If not read more for the demo sticker on the box, it would be impossible to prove to anyone that this pedal was on display at Sweetwater. Does it sound exactly like the Leslie? No. But you would be able to fool the untrained ear with it. And it does a decent job as a flanger as well. I'm happy!

Combine with the right scooped distortion and get that Last Train Home and 80s Clapton tone

Combine this Dyno-My-Roto chorus at the right level with a scooped distortion and a Strat to get that 80s overdriven lead tone John Mayer has on Last Train Home or 80s Clapton lead. Good 80s style chorus with versatile rotary sounds as well.

Versatile, sounds great, well built!
