New favorite
After more than 57 years playing guitar, I finally installed a set of flatwounds. I put these Chromes on my favorite hollowbody electric (Godin 5th Avenue) and simply love it. Smooth and warm. Makes me want to play all day.
Favorite flats
I knew I liked these but switched to similar Thomastik Infelds out of curiosity. Those maybe felt a little smoother but were quite dead and clunky to me so switching back to these was an easy decision. Very responsive and full, but at the same time could never be mistaken for rounds in sound or feel.
Flatwounds
I put these D'Addario flatwounds on my Les Paul Custom, and WOW, what TONE! I am pleased!
Great Sound
I started using these strings on my 62 edition Country Gentleman and they sound great, play easy and stay in tune better than any I have used in the past.
Great guitar strings
They're great strings and could basically play anything on them but to unlock they're full potential, they sound so good playing jazz/blues. Definitely recommend!
