Compressor pedals tend to be my favorite type of pedals. This one is glorious. I like to get a silky cream tone when I play clean or with overdrive. This pedal delivers that magic exactly. I have actually been using mine fairly consistently with the suggested setting of a "gently tone sweetener." That setting is pretty darn perfect for me. What a tad bit of good compression… read more will do, always underrated IMO.

I have wanted one of these for a long time, just never pulled the trigger. Finally bought one, and now its an always on pedal. Had an old Dyna Comp years ago, but this pedal is so much better. Run an edge of breakup WDW, and this pedal is clean, no noise, and the blend knob is, for me, the best feature of the pedal. Great compressor, as others have stated. Does everything i want in a compressor from chicken pickin' country to hard rock. Wampler nailed this pedal. Have tried other units but this one did all the right things for me. Great fat tone, lots of control, and the blend knob! From subtle transparent, to country squash. It's all here. Super happy! Highly recommended!

You have a lot of control over your compression with this pedal. It can be a dramatic effect or an always on pedal to fatten up your sound.

Great addition to the ole board, adds color and fullness to the sound, inserted into a 1978 JMP 1/2 stack. Fender 65 reissue, DSL40C, AND EVH 5150 III 50W combo, all accepted the pedal flawlessly. This pedal is a keeper. Thank you Kurt and Sweetwater, always great customer service and products.
