It's great, it does what an optical compressor should, it produces a very musical compression, and has massive headroom running at 12V. I love this pedal!

I use one for my clean tone and the other for my dirty tone. This pedal is worth its weight in gold! The way this pedal shapes my tone is ridiculous! I have had compressor pedals before - but nothing that gave the result of this pedal.

This compressor had everything I was looking for: optical, headroom, plenty of volume (12dB of boost), and most importantly it sounds great—let's just say it's more a nitrocellulose lacquer over your tone than polyester.

Had it for about a year no issues. Really fattens up the tone. Has enough controls but not complicated. If the amp is on, its on. Great pedal
