I paired this with a Sentient and a Quarter Pounder in an older Ibanez RG. This thing is dark, and *extremely* articulate, with more gain on tap than anything I have ever used (that wasn't hooked to a 9v battery). It's got lot's of "chunk" down low without getting muddy through a saggy, high-gain tube amp, and still retains all of the clarity one would want on the high end. … read more Best $$ I ever spent on a guitar upgrade. If you play a style that lends itself to a darker tone, and want more gain, this pickup should be a consideration.

I dropped this into the bridge of a Gibsom SG.....Dayum! Dynamic, searing tone! This pickup reacts extremely well to The volume knob. Full out it's bright and aggressive, roll back the volume and it brings in some warmth and chunk. Awesome pickup!

Great pickup!! Fantastic tone. Not as bright as the Dimebucker, but MORE output. The volume knob is where it defines it self. Will do any style. Clean or Dirty! Love this pickup.

Has great tone and sound bass mids and highs sound fantastic cleans up beautiful For any style of music sounds superb in rock and metal the notes ring out super nice sound is nice and tight pick up is superb all around well worth the money 100% satisfied and totally happy with the sound im getting.
