Forget the price tag on Epiphone's inspired by Gibson series. I own both brands and the Epiphone J-200EC plays as well and sounds as good as some of my more expensive guitars in my home studio! Epiphone really stepped up their game at a reasonable price point. Thank you Sweetwater and Epiphone! Please don't stop what you are doing. Capt ASBello

I have been playing for 40 years and have owned high end acoustic guitars and this the greatest acoustic guitar that I have ever owned! Purchase this guitar and you will be in acoustic guitar heaven. Enough said!

The Epiphone EJ200sce is an amazing instrument. Well built, great big sound, and plays easily. It's also one of the most beautiful guitars around. In addition, the built in tuner is the best I've ever seen and it sounds great through an amp. If you're a professional who gigs constantly and records and plays amazingly I suppose you could go for the Gibson J200. I bought this new and online from Sweetwater. I knew what I wanted and talked to Joe my sales rep and was a bit apprehensive I admit but in the end pleasantly surprised to find I should never have worried at all. I love this guitar and my Martin is getting jealous! Great intonation right out of the box. This guitar should cost a lot more than it does and puts to shame the notion… read more of "you get what you pay for". Even the electronics seem to be exceptional in quality. I recommend this guitar to anyone who wants that big jumbo Gibson sound without the big Gibson price!

This guitar is absolutely amazing. The sound is rich. The sustain is great. The look and feel of the guitar is excellent. It is a piece of art.Chris Mosley did a great job in checking in on me and getting me squared away.
