longtime player, over 40 years. This EQ is entirely built around the tweaking frequencies that bring out the best of any combination of guitar/pups and amp. I am now able to make any guitar work with any amp. Now you are able dial in that fuzz and/or distortion pedal that never really worked with a specific guitar/amp. There are so many good things about this pedal. The parametric mid labeling is great. 2.2hz/classic scoop. 723/tube screamer bump. Basically I use this in the loop as an attenuator adding a little scoop/bump to taste. Running this at 18v I've never run out of headroom even when pushing a pretty hot signal through it. Quiet and clean. I bought this early on in my tone search, sold… read more it, and now #2. It was like plugging in sn old friend. After some tweaking, I now have my Fender Stratocaster screaming! It really punches through the mix now, which is something I've been looking for. The battery function was a little confusing, but it works great. I highly recommend this pedal.

I've been playing electric guitar for 33 years. I just added this Wampler EQuator to my pedalboard and am very, very happy. You think you don't need an EQ but once you try one you can't believe what you've been missing. Amazing! This particular EQ is super intuitive and very easy to use. Don't hesitate. Buy this EQuator!
