The absolute best of the best
This has got to be the absolute finest instrument I've ever had the pleasure of playing on. Everything about this bass is too-notch. The roasted maple neck feels absolutely incredible and is very very smooth. The tone is that unmistakable Stingray growl, and you'd be surprised how many options the one pickup with 3 band EQ will give you. All the hardware is very very premium too.… read more This bass truly feels like an extension of my body. 11/10. A++++. The absolute best of the best.
My Ernie Ball Stingray Special
Switching from a Fender Jazz the neck on the special is thicker at the nut up to around the 3rd fret it's a good grab when playing the F and Bb. The 11inch radius feels flat nice when playing chromatic/diatonic lines. The body feels small and when playing sitting but so comfy when standing.
