Amazing Experience
noticed this guitar wasnt in stock so I entered my email for notification when available, one random day it was in stock (never got the notification) so i ordered. It arrived and when i plugged it in strange random white noise sounds came from the bridge pu when just sitting there... then i noticed it produces LOUD grounding out noise when touching the pickup cover, switching to… read more the neck pu works fine without noise or issue... 55 point inspection?!? Sweetwater support said i need to get theyre guitar techs to look at it and will take a few days. At this point i requested a replacement or refund which after having to place another call to get return label where the sweetwater rep only cared about re-couping theyre money from esp for the defective guitar and cared nothing about my musical needs. amazing experience!
MH-1007
It took a while to receive this guitar, but man was it worth the wait. Pleasing to look at and even more pleasing to play. The evertune bridge is fantastic. Don't let it scare you with its complexity, it is actually quite simple to use. And I stay in tune basically from string change to string change. The fishman pickups are great. Its my first guitar with fishman moderns and it… read more convinced me to order another set to swap out my EMGs in my other LTD. The push pull tone options are great. The neck is smooth. Fret ends are great. Frets are stainless steel which is a huge plus. For the few negatives, the neck is gloss. I know some people hate that, but I don't mind. Also, it could use some locking tuners, but not a big deal. For the price, it could at least come with a hard case, or even a gig bag. Overall though, highly recommend!
Best value 7 string
Best hardware to be found in the range. Evertune is excellent after reading manual and watching video, fishman fluency modern pickups have great drive and tone, ebony fretboard with stainless steel frets are stellar. The only thing missing was a case. Highly recommend for any lover of the 7 string extended range and drop tuning.
The best Evertune equipped 7 strings in this price range
I wanted a 7 strings with Evertune, SS frets and 25.5" scale without selling the house As soon as I saw this I placed a pre-order right away. Got it today and couldn't be happier. It was about time to see SS frets on upper range LTDs The only competitor might be the new Apex30, which probably looks better (subjective) but has the usual super thin neck (which I find super uncomfortable… read more ) and no SS Frets. Fit and finish look perfect, fret job is great, nothing to complain, especially for a MIK guitar at this price. Sweetwater customer service has been, as usual, the best in the market by far. ,
