I like frank bello bass sound!!, i buy this one, and at least the passive pickups works ok. I did replace the stock PU with the EMG frank bello signature. The difference is amazing!!!. higher register notes comes out alive!!I do have almost the ESP bass sound with less investment

I bought it as an experiment since I don't play heavy metal. The tone is very versatile, I prefer in between P and J equally balanced. The matte color is just mean business and I set it up with a set of black tapewound by LaBella. I think it's just a unique bass that gives you a great feel. Recommended even as a first bass over the overrated Fenders mex (which I love, but still...Get… read more a Bello. He's also a nice guy).

20 years playing bass and a lot of stuff played. This bass captured my attention because I love the way it looks and has a jazz bass body with p/j pickups. I already have a Geddy Lee signature, a couple of Spectors and a Schecters. This LTD has an awesome quality. Lightweight, tuners does the job, fret job is perfect so I can get a low action without fret buzz and the sound is versatile… read more not just to play rock. I mean, it's a p/j so you have the best of both worlds. My only complain is that it has a very low output, even more than normal for a passive bass, but in my case that is not a problem because I'm a "Samsamp 100% on" user so I can compensate that. Overall, this one will be a keeper. By the way, I made my own setups, but this one came almost perfect right out of the box. The guys from Sweetwater did a great job.

I have a fleet of basses and purchased the Bello bass due to the jazz style shape and resurch on this bass and honestly can say this is the real deal! Fast neck and Awesome tone! My sales rep Simon Whitehouse Never disappoints me! Love this bass and Sweetwater!!!

I received this bass as a gift back in August and it has been my main bass since then. It is a beautiful bass with a sound to match. I run it through a Hartke lh500 and Peavey 410 headliner. I love this bass!
