I've tried some others just to see and always come back to Daddario strings. For me they are consistent in tone & long lasting playability, I use exL1110's on my electrics & Custo Lights on acoustics.

Not sure what it is, but I love the sound of these strings, particularly on my guitars with single-coil pickups where I hear exceptional clarity. They seem to last a long time, and the good news is that after using them for a couple of decades now, I've just about memorized the color scheme that tells you the string gauges!
