The Best for my Grestch
I have been using these strings on my Grestch Tennessee Rose since I purchased the guitar back in 2015. These strings stay in tune wonderfully. The sound of the unit is divine with them on there. I have played Rockabilly and Praise and Worship music with them. No problems at all with the D'Addario EXL115 set.
The Top Shelf String !
I love these strings on my Les Paul Standard and SG Standard !!! I play modern southern rock so anything from country rock to drop D and open tunings. I use the wound g string set on my "58 double cut Les Paul Jr... AKA Ruby... awesome with slide work from glass, ceramic to brass !! I highly suggest these !!! I"m a pro musician, world wide sales and recordings and use these to get… read more the job done any day good, bad or ugly.
Even tone
These are all I use. I've tried several other brands and they all have a low E string that sounds weird and doesn't match the tone of the other strings. D'Addarios sound even and consistent across all the strings. They last too.
My Strings
I've been experimenting with a variety of strings and now I'm back to my all time favorite because they just can't be beat for sound and long lasting. 45 years playing
EXL115
More beef than 10s and no pain (compared to 13s or 12s) when you do lots of bends. Easy on the fingers and much better tone.
