C# standard on a les paul.
Perfect for C# Standard tuning.
Perfect
If you like using 10-52 for D Standard, these will work for C standard. Feels about the same, nice tension, fantastic tone.
Favorite set for Drop C
Ive been using these strings on 2 different guitars that I have setup in drop C tuning. Couldn't be happier. Both guitars have 24 frets and 25.5" scale length. These puppies take a beating and hold their tuning very well. Decent string life as well. For what my opinion is worth, these are definitely my go-to strings for D standard or drop C tuning. Love them. Thank you D'addario… read more and Sweetwater for providing great products! Highly recommend!
Just what I was looking for.
These are advertised as strings for Drop D tuning but I would say too tight for Drop D. However, for Drop C#/Db they are perfect. Top end isn't super loose but loose enough for bends and tight enough for clean pull-offs and hammer-ons. The bottom end is nice and tight for punchy chords and aggressive strumming. I use them on a Gibson SG and they are just what I was looking for for… read more Drop C#. Will always keep a set handy.
