Impressive

Been using the 120+ (9.5-44) gauge for a few years on my Strats and SGs. Held off putting them on my Elite Tele and continued to use the 9-42's gauge that it originally came with; mostly for easy string bends. Was testing out various gauges and brands including sets of 8's and 10's during the lockdown. Finally put the 9.5's on it and kicked myself for not doing it sooner. Now… read more I have a greater balance of volume, fuller tone and is easier to play than I thought it would be. Great product! (note: I have been told that the self-inflicted bruise on backside will go away in time).

Really impressed

These bend and play like 9s but the 1st string doesn't sound so terribly thin. These broke in very quickly and they sound and feel great.

Absolutely Perfect

For me, 10s were always a little too thick, had too much tension, and didn't bend easy enough. 9s were too thin and not enough meat for the tone I wanted. I tried these 9.5 strings years ago and have never looked back. I immediately replaced the strings on all of my guitars with these. They're easier to grab than 9s, give thicker tone, and bend easily with just the right amount… read more of tension. I'll never use anything else. Favorite Strings Forever

It's not just the brand or quality of these strings that I love. The 9.5 gauge is a game changer imo. I never liked 10's and 9's felt too loose, so this gauge was key to fine tuning the feel of my favorite guitars. I've used this gauge for at least 20 years.
