The concept of altering string gauges in a set was a relatively new idea for me. After trying a couple of sets, I must admit the response is more uniform across the neck and makes playing easier. Add Daddario quality and that's all you need.

Absolutely Fantastic Strings!!

I have been playing guitar for 50 years now. I have tried about every brand and type of strings and gauge sets. I used to play professionally, now more with friends and local things. I have to say, I wish I would have tried this set sooner. I really think these are the best for anything you want to play. The bass strings are deep rich and harmonic and the the high strings are clear read more articulate and full sounding,no tinny sounds or weak strings. Great for Blues bending to country and rock at least for me and my herd of guitars. Sweetwater has absolutely the best price on these and they have fast and secure shipping. Absolutely the best strings for my arthritic hands too!I can rock out like 1979 all over again.

These are the cat's meow

Perfect. Balanced tension. Good tone. Intonation brings saddles closer to one line. Of course, it depends on your style, but for single-note lines, these strings are the best I've used (been playing since 1973).

I like um!

I like these strings. I play a Les Paul and usually use light or super light strings. Thought I'd try these and actually prefer them over the lights. The do feel more comfortable and consistent.
