Great strings
I have been using the 10 pack D'addario EXL140 strings for 10 years. They are on on all my guitars. Nice solid bottom and bendable top strings. This makes the perfect balance for me. They are wrapped in a plastic air tight pouch so you'll have no corrosion issues. I find the consistency (intonation accuracy) from one set to the next to be the best I have tried. They sound amazing for any music venue
Been using Ernie Ball skinny top , heavy bottom , jus love these strings on my Gretsch , they sound amazing , they cut thru with plenty of high fidelity for fat on your face tone !!
Perfect for Drop D
These are the D'addario version of the Ernie Ball string set with the same name. I've always personally preferred D'addario strings over other brands because to me they feel tighter. Anyways, if you are looking for a string set for Drop D tuning get these.
