Nate, my Sweetwater rep got me a great deal on a Kramer Assault Plus. But no hard case available. I found through a forum that a Epiphone Explorer case would fit but I would need to pad the guitar to make it fit snug. Got the case and went to the fabric store for $20 got the foam & material for the perfect fit. Kramer and numerous other vendors didn't have a case yet that would… read more fit because of the unique head stock & head angle. I now have a custom fit case thats perfect & less than a custom made hardshell case!

Ive seen multiple reviews claiming new Epiphone Extura does not fit without modification. It's a close fit, but not overly tight. See photos attached, judge for yourself.

Nice case but does not fit explorer earlier this year I bought one of these cases for my Epiphone 1984 Ex Explorer. That case fit the explorer perfectly. So I just ordered a brand new one when Sweetwater got these in stock,Epiphone Explorer does no fit in it not even close. What does fit in perfectly is my new SchecterE1 Explorer style Guitar which is why I bought this new case… read more for it anyway. So nice case just make sure you talk to Sweetwater representatives and if you buy an explorer style guitar have them make sure it fits the case
