Great hum bucking strat pickup

I don't remember doing a lot of research into the DP181, back in the early 2,000's but I did research post purchase of my standard MIM STRAT, and I'm glad I did it. I replaced a lame stock bridge pup with this DiMarzio humbuckers, in 2003-04 and that strat has been my favorite axe since then. My mid and neck are Fender custom shop noiseless pickups, but my bridge is the DP181..… read more My leads are crisp, clear, and powerful.. Not too much so, but enough power to cut through the mix, and deliver strong, clean, clear overdriven solos when I select pure bridge output. Whether I run straight guitar to amps or guitar to effects, like boss mega distortion, DP181 delivers exactly what I want, every time. It is good for power chords, or clean leads too.. It is a high fidelity pickup, so regardless of how you use it, you are guaranteed good tone. I would buy this again in a heartbeat, and would definitely refer this pup to a friend!l.
