Wonderful
I'm not generally a review guy. I was searching for a reverb to use with a Marshall DSL 40cr. Read a lot of reviews and watched a lot of videos. I wanted a pedal that had a fairly wide range of sound options available. I finally settled on this one. This sounded great the moment I turned it on. Goes from subtle to beyond and everything in between. I actually had no interest whatsoever… read more in the sustain feature and had no intention to use it. I'm amazed at how organic and musical it is. Everything about this pedal is wonderful. If this pedal is on your short list of potential reverbs I can't imagine a situation where it would disappoint. I had high expectations and they were met. Well done!
The G.O.A.T.is
So awesome my friend tried it and got the same one lol. I wish I could have got the respray like him but the deep sea diver doesn't disappoint. I've had it since it first came out, it was my first $ pedal. You will never need another reverb. Spring is overrated anyways. Sonar will change your life. One of those situations where explanation is pointless you're better off just getting… read more immersed in it your own way.
Didn’t Know a Reverb Pedal Could Do All This
I love a little bit of spring reverb. My main amp is a clone of a 1964 Blackface Princeton Reverb so that's covered. This pedal does 4 OTHER kinds of reverb and is incredibly flexible. The Decay, Dampen, and Mix controls are a strong foundation, but the Program and X controls let you explore sonic places I'd never thought of. I mistakenly thought the H-P-L-S knob was a 4 position… read more selector. It's not - it lets you pan variably from one mode to the other. The Hall and Plate reverb effects are what you'd expect, but you can blend them. I can't really explain lo-fi well. It's cool, but the range between that and the Sonar with octaves added is pure fun.
A Reverb Pedal for Every Need
Buy it. My main gig is that of an acoustic solo performer. The Fathom adds to my signature sound with an atmospheric depth. Writing originals, it inspires new music with a range of moods. Definitely a powerful tool for performance and creating. I'm really enjoying this pedal.
Amazing Reverb!
I absolutely love this Reverb pedal. It creates such a beautiful and deep reverb. The Hall Mode is my favorite. I've compared this to several others and keep coming back to it. It's stacks well, even with other reverb pedals. It holds a permanent place on my board. I recommend watching Rabea's review on YouTube to get an idea of the tone. Buy it.
