I'm very happy with this bass! It plays very well and is beautiful. The color is awesome, the inlays, the colored headstock is very nice. It came with a great hardshell case, Fender strap and cable. At first, I was questioning why it didn't come with a bone nut, but after a little research and talking to Mike Picotte at Sweetwater, I'm satisfied with the synthetic bone nut.… read more It's a little pricy, but I'm sure Adam Clayton will get a little (probably not too much), however, I'm very satisfied with my purchase from Sweetwater!

What can I say, I'm in love with this bass. The neck is soooo comfortable, and I just can't stop staring at this bass. It's so sexy! The first thing I did was put a 10-hole Fender OEM Tortoise Shell Pickguard on it, and it's just stunning. The Sherwood Green Metallic doesn't get justice in pictures. I was never a big fan of the painted headstock, but it just sets this guitar… read more off. The pickups are everything I was looking and hoping for. If you're waffling on this, just take the leap! This was my first major purchase from Sweetwater, and I've bought from the other major sites. The service with Sweetwater really is second to none. My sales engineer Mac Hatton was on top of everything from start to finish. I'm ready for a long relationship with Sweetwater. These guys are the real deal!

This bass compares favorably with many of the Fender Custom Shop Jazz axes, but is easier on the wallet! The Fender Custom Shop 60's pickups in this instrument give it the vibe many desire.
