Sweetwater - AJ De Outstanding
I have been a musician for about 60 years. Started taking lessons @ 8 years old (guitar) … over the years I have interacted with music studios and sales organizations and have come to find that Sweetwater is one of the BEST!! Suffice it to say that providing quality instruments (I have over 28 string instruments) and gear is paramount to creating a satisfied customer. The other… read more very important factor is qualified sales and service personnel. AJ DeLong is, in my humble opinion, one of the best sales/technical resources I have ever worked with in the music sales industry. His knowledge, demeanor and follow up are outstanding. He and I have the best of customer - Sweetwater relationships. I have purchased many instruments and gear from Sweetwater and will continue to do so because AJ makes it so easy to decide on the right equipment and instruments by answering all my questions about each item. So as I sing the praises of my Sweetwater experiences they are coupled with the outstanding service delivery of their personnel. Kind Regards Charlie Magnifico - Stockholm, New Jersey
Coolest looking uke ever made
This was something i knew i had to have as soon as i saw it. I waited months before it was finally in stock. It's been a very good Uke for the most part. A couple gripes: It does NOT sound good plugged in. There's an obnoxious buzzing in one of the strings. it's better to put a mic in front of the sound hole than use the built-in pickup. I don't know if this is something that… read more can be fixed but it's a bummer. The fit and finish is a bit lacking. there are wobbly lines in the binding and the fretwork is lazy, with some of the sharpest fret ends i've ever encountered on any instrument. All in all, after 18 months, i'm still quite happy with the thing. My 14 year old boy loves it as well.
A Great Uke!
This Fender Fullerton STRAT uke will pleasantly surprise you! I own about a dozen ukes--including a Fender Koa Nohea. I purchased the sunburst model with the white pickguard. I would have preferred a tortoise shell pickguard (I think it would look better), but that was not an option. But this new uke from Fender holds its own with all of its brothers and sisters in my collection!… read more It has great volume acoustically, and sounds great plugged-in. The maple neck is smooth and fast! It is well made and is definitely worth the price. I would encourage anyone--especially Fender Strat enthusiasts--to pick one up. You won't be disappointed!
Cute
The strat I've been playing for the past 25 years as my main instrument looks exactly like this, so I had to get it based solely on that. I'm not a uke player, but since getting it, I've learned a few chords and it's fun.
Nice Uke!
Super cool! Great sound!
My Strat.
Nice finish, great action, good tone. Fits nicely into a concert hardcase. Playing it took me back to the sixties. Rock and Roll is good for soul!
