Coolest looking uke ever made
This was something i knew i had to have as soon as i saw it. I waited months before it was finally in stock. It's been a very good Uke for the most part. A couple gripes: It does NOT sound good plugged in. There's an obnoxious buzzing in one of the strings. it's better to put a mic in front of the sound hole than use the built-in pickup. I don't know if this is something that… read more can be fixed but it's a bummer. The fit and finish is a bit lacking. there are wobbly lines in the binding and the fretwork is lazy, with some of the sharpest fret ends i've ever encountered on any instrument. All in all, after 18 months, i'm still quite happy with the thing. My 14 year old boy loves it as well.
Cute
The strat I've been playing for the past 25 years as my main instrument looks exactly like this, so I had to get it based solely on that. I'm not a uke player, but since getting it, I've learned a few chords and it's fun.
